4. Possible 2013 Softball Tournaments in Deweyville/Mark Fryer—He and Jamie Sommers are looking for
places for a large tournament. It would be three days—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It is an ASA
tournament and would be held the first part of May and then again the first week of August. They
would need all our fields. The fields would need to be approved by ASA. Teams would be rotated
between Tremonton and surrounding cities. We could open our cook shack for some revenue. Fences

be done by the 3rd week in August. There may be a grant to help pay for it. Council Member Kliger will
research. Mr. Brent Craven has declined to donate the cabin next door to the town. So we are dropping
that project.

6. Park and Bowery Scheduling/Calendar on website—We can put blacked out reservation dates on the
website for public viewing. Monte will research if people can go online and reserve the bowery. He is
also researching giving the clerk/recorder administrative access to the website calendar.
7. Tree Board—The board can bring in grants and money for projects. Right now Council Member Kliger
doesn’t feel we have an active board. We need someone to organize. Marlene Berger would be a good
person for the job. We should get the youth involved. Council Member Kliger was assigned to this
project. Council Member Garlick needs to get the signs up for the Arbor Tree Foundation.
8. Walking Trail Discussion—Council Member Kliger is researching whether we can use culinary water
efficiently to water the plants so the sprinkler heads don’t get clogged.
9. Lish Bench Placement—Council Member Kliger will contact the family and research where they would
like the bench placed.

Breakfast made money.

with Garland this month.
